2010 season came to a "SIZZLIN" end in Greenbrier with the Mayors cup! Although Greenbrier maintained the cup... Vilonia Sports association had a tremendous year overall. Notable milestones for our program :

1) Jody Lawrences' "Wild Eagles" Won the 12U Tri-county league overall and was tournament champions as well. The Wild Eagles also won thier Mayors cup series against Greenbrier.

2) Roger Ramseys' "Vengeance" team took 2nd place in the tri-county south.

3) Terry Duncans' " Diamond Dolls" took 2nd in 6U tri-county south tournament and played in the championships held in Heber Springs.

4) James Thompsons' " Red Sox" Took 2nd place in tri-county south overall.

5) Donnie Harlans' " Hot Shots" took 2nd place in the tri county south overall and also won thier Mayor's Cup series against Greenbrier.

6) Kim Kelley's " Lockeroom Cuddettes" took 3rd place overall in District 10 championship play.

Vilonia Softball is on the rise thanks to your hard work and dedication. We are very proud of and for the girls and parents of Vilonia. Thank You for a very special year.

Registration opens July 10^th.

Registration is $30.00/ team.

Games are $25.00 / game. (Fee covers umpires and field manager costs)

Age divisions offered for fall 2010 are 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U

Teams will play in a “MOVING UP’ concept meaning teams are required to play in the division they would play in the spring of 2011.

Game balls are a team responsibility.

Games will strictly adhere to a one hour time limit.

League rules will follow the 2010 tri-county rules and/or the 2010 ASA rules when not specifically addressed in the tri-county rules. ( posted on the VSA website)

There will be no trophies or awards presented for league play

Games start at 9am and there are no make up games or refunds after the start of the game

8U and 10U are machine pitch.

Insurance is not provided by the VSA it is the team manager/coaches responsibility to have insured players.

In order to play on Saturday you must contact David @ 501-796-2591, 479-970-1651 or riederd1@windstream.net prior to 9pm on the Mondays’ prior to the Saturday you wish to play.
